The location of the property was marvellous as we were very close to a Yates pub and local restaurants. We explored Water Haigh Park, which is located approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel.

The staff was very kind. The authentic rooms are located in former stables what gave it a little extra. Pub served nice local food for honest price. Good Breakfast included.
The busy pub was crowed with a variety off the town’s citizens which I liked, but what some older people or business man may not like. The Hotel is very authentic with rooms build in former stable but some may like some more comfort

Great room with fabulous service. I was made to feel welcome from the minute I checked in and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The meals were excellent, well prepared using fresh ingredients and good sized portions. All in all a very pleasant stay

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. Mugs were provided for hot drinks. Good breakfast with a good variety of cereal.
The kettle provided was only big enough for one mug. The toilet paper was very poor quality and the TV was too small.

Enjoyed some really good meals here. I had a minor issue with the family room, but they upgraded me to a more spacious room that was definitely worth the price. the beds were super comfy too! 😊

Yorkshire Pub with city quality accomodation. Excellent value , Defo go again
There was building work going on which meant that the place did not present itself as weel as it good but great value for money . They were extending the pub and making an area as a cafe ... hence the building work

Very friendly staff, made us really welcome in what was a hectic grand national day in the pub part, the stabled courtyard accomodation made a very quiet and private stay so enjoyable. The decor of room and shower were all to a very good, modern standar, even free wifi if you wanted it! Again sunday breakfast was graet as the time slot was designed to your specific requirement, ours being a lazy-ish 10-15! great breakfast, will definitely use again

The room we stayed in was awesome - it was all new and had cool furniture. They even had a mini-fridge, hair dryer, and tea and coffee available. the best part was that this place is right in the heart of everything! 🌟

Really good to find a hotel that is so dog friendly yet clean !! The staff were efficient & friendly & a good breakfast to boot !! Would use again.
Could do with a bigger TV in the bedroom - had trouble viewing from the bed - small quibble really !!
